How It Works

It's simple to promote a career fair. Here's how it works.
  1. Outline what you need, what you offer, and select 3 available dates you’re available to host an event. Get started here
  2. Schedule and pay for your event promotions with a HealthHire Account Strategy via a brief 15-minute call. We want to ensure we know what you need to help you set-up the best event possible. Based on availability, your Strategist will confirm a date. We'll craft an event invitation and you approve it.
  3. Sit back while HealthHire gets to work. Our team crafts an entire campaign to promote your event via email, text, phone calls, and capturing passive candidates in your local community. We leverage multiple recruitment channels to promote your event so you don't need to.
  4. Host event and hire. During your event, typically 4 to 6 hours - candidates will arrive ready to complete paperwork and meet your team. Best practice is to ask candidates complete all hiring paperwork required for processing and to interview each individual.

How many caregivers will attend my career fair?

The number of career fair attendees is dependent on many factors including your position requirements, location, your local brand reputation, and time of year (e.g. fewer caregivers choose to attend a career fair during inclement weather vs a warm sunny day). Your HealthHire Account Strategist can help guide you to build a powerful event invitation, which serves as the foundation for a successful event. In the past, companies have reported between 4 and 106 attendees, representing very rural markets with specific needs to larger markets that are open to interviewing many types of candidates. If your needs are specific, interview booking may be a better solution. With career fairs, HealthHire is your promotional partner and we aim to get as many candidate excited to attend as possible. However, it's caregiver choice to attend.

Do you screen applicants?

How far in advance should I plan my career fair?

It's recommended that you plan your event as far in advance as possible to secure your preferred event date. In many markets, we can schedule your event within a couple of weeks. However, some markets may have a waitlist of 3 to 6 weeks.
